Anyone having Craigslist Ad Issues?

I just noticed that the craigslist add that I made on Postlets doesn't look right. I logged into my craigslist account and it says that IMG, FONT, TABLE, DIV and SPAN tags are no longer supported in this category. The Postlets adds are primarily made up of these tags. This really sucks if this is a permanent change.

Yeah it seems to be the policy now.

Never say forever but it isn't like they is just a glitch in the site it is here for the foreseeable future.

I do think the intent is to make it easier for the "regular" user.  Unsophisticated posters don't know how to make their own fancy tags and most wouldn't even be able to figure out how to post the code from Postlets into the ad.

To be honest I generally liked my text ads better than Postlets except for the fact that you could have like 25 pictures in it.  I almost always used both anyway.

Yes, the cheese is moving, however we get MORE than we pay for with CL. Don't fight the change:

1 - Get professional photos. Show your offering at it's best.

2 - Better understand UX - user experience, improve your headline.

3 - Write better and easier to read copy

4 - Think of a method, in additon to CL, to market your rental

Let this change inspire you to improve your marketing and lower your vacancy rate (I'm really giving myself a pep talk).

I noticed this too. Not sure why they're making the changes, seems to only make things harder for the average user.
