Neighbor wants to remove adjoining chain link fence and put wrought iron fence. I told him he doesn't have permission and can put it on the side./ next to the chain link fence.  
Advice tips, for an official notice?
My property has a complete chain link fence surrounding it.

You told him no and that should suffice. If the neighbor is stupid enough to take a portion of your fence down (and none of your fence is located on his/her property), you'll have no issue suing and winning.
