Admin Service Fees for Repairs on Rentals

I own 3 SFR in Alabama, all managed by the same company. The company recently implemented a 9% "Admin Service Charge" for any repairs that are done at my rentals. This is on top of the repair cost. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Nope, and I would say no thank you. Either switch to a different property manager and make sure they know why, or handle the repairs yourself if you’re local. 

You want them incentivized to get you a lower price on repairs, not a higher one.
