Hi All,

flying solo and not using an agent this time around to rent a property. Is Marketplace still a good tool? What about the "boost" feature on marketplace? Zillow still safe? I am avoiding craigslist. I'm also going through the verification process with realtor.com and apartments.com. And of course, doing the old sign in the front yard which so far has yielded the most interest when compared to marketplace and zillow. Market is far north dallas area. Why am i doing this? I have more time these days for my rentals and hoping to save on commissions. I do not have a real estate license and so MLS is out.

Thanks for any useful info!

Quote from @Vernon Watts:

Shalom Keith, does realor.com charge a monthly fee for post properties rental or sales as all the other do? I see that you realized that every institution, website, marketing place, and agencies of all kinds got their filthy little hands out, to make money off of your hard-earned deals. Good for you to take the route you're taking to increase your bottom line when the deal is completed. That's what I did, I stopped running to entities set up to help, but more to profit off me. I use sources like my own portfolio investors accumulated over the 5+ years I started buying and flipping properties. I use sources that doesn't charge (forever) for posting properties for sale, rent or otherwise. Keep seeking the best way for your bottom line to increase, with very little loses. Remember Real Estate is fluid.

Hi Vernon, luckily in my area it appears zillow and realtor.com aren't charging at the moment for posts. I agree, I am trying to make the most of my investments as long as time allows.
