HELP! Garage door repair.

Hello, I have a dilemma. My wife hit one end of our garage door before the garage opened fully. Garage door wouldn’t go down as it appears the hinges are getting caught on the rails. Contacted the landlord and they’ve said garage door would need to replaced entirely. Mind you; there are no physical damage to the garage door itself. The landlord also said they would need to have a vendor come out for measurements and estimate. When asked I would contact a vendor of my choice; the landlord said it can only be repaired by the vendor of their choice. Are they able to do that and what are my options. Please help. Any info would be greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
