Zillow Posting Issue

Hello,

I have recently closed on my first rental property and am super excited on this huge step as an investor! I am now looking to find tenants and was looking to Zillow to screen and find tenants. However, it won't let me post as it states "This listing can't be published. A for sale listing already exists at this address." However, the closing is done as of two weeks ago. It just hasn't updated in Zillow. I've reached out to Zillow both via phone & email to no success. How does Zillow update their listings? Does it pull from the MLS? Has anybody else experienced this issue? If so, how was it fixed?

Lastly, does anybody recommend any other routes they've found success with for finding tenants?

Appreciate any and all help for this newbie! Thanks in advance!

Zillow will pull from the MLS. I would contact the listing agent of the sale and see why the for sale listing is still active since you say it is closed. Zillow will not allow a for sale and a for rent listing to exist at the same time. The sale listing takes priority.
