Tenant request some rent back

I have apartment building her in California. A tenant gave me a 60 day notice she's going to move out. Her 60 days would be March 1, 2014. I just got a phone call from her today saying her last day is going to be Friday Feb.15, 2014. My question is, do I have to give her back a portion of her rent? Thanks you

Aaron

@Aaron Sims I know we are all in this to make good money, but for a 30-year "good" tenant, I would let her off without enforcing the contract. This means you can start the renovations on the 16th (which you really can't if you make her pay until the end of the month), and maybe rent it out by the 1st of March. Win-win.
