How do you handle rent collection? Knock on their door on the first? Have them put it in your mailbox right outside? Mail to your P.O. Box?

I have them deposit it into my bank account. Even if they lived in the same building as me I don't want to make unnecessary trips to the bank.

I understand landlords wanting to be involved and on top of their rentals but I feel showing up to the house monthly Is a bit intrusive. Just my .02 if it works for some that's great. I just know I would not be OK with that arraingement if I were a tenant. That said, I would not like the arraingement of me being anyone's tenant.
