Tenant late paying rent

Hello team.
Hope all of you are doing great.
I have tenant in one of the rooms who has not paid and has ghosted me.
I have called texted and emailed with no response back. I called the non emergency to make sure they weren’t missing. Police went there and said one of the roommates saw her yesterday so there wasn’t much they could do. It’s good the person is alive and well.

I like to know what to do next. Should I start the process to remove them? How do I go about doing that?  I’m in Florida.
any advice or past experience with what to do or not to do is greatly appreciated.

Never had to do this in past 8 years so I have zero clue on what to do next. Thank you for your help.
