AI for Automating Maintenance Requests - Your Thoughts?

I'm curious about your thoughts on using AI to fully automate maintenance requests, including renter requests, troubleshooting, and appointment scheduling, while providing personalized communication to residents.

Would you consider trying such a solution? What do you think are the potential benefits and drawbacks?

If it's AI, then it's not "personalized" in any way.

I use PropertyMeld. I set it up so some communication is automated. For example, if the tenant reports their refrigerator isn't working, the system automatically responds with some troubleshooting tips. If the tenant responds that the problem still isn't resolved, then the system asks them to send a picture of the label with model and serial number. It then asks them to provide at least three days/times they are available for a technician to make the repair. I assign the work to a vendor, and that vendor is notified by text and email. If the vendor accepts the job, they are shown when the tenant is available. They can accept one of the tenant times, or text directly with the tenant to schedule a different time. When the vendor marks the job complete, the tenant is automatically asked if the work was done to their satisfaction and it asks them to review the vendor and my company.

The automation works most of the time, but there are some times where additional communication is needed. AI can't replace that.
