Are there updated BP state leases?

Question

Just was checking on the CT state lease on BP and saw that it hasn't been updated since 2019 version.  There was new laws implemented in 2024 for CT, so wasn't sure if anyone from BP has reviewed that and updated the lease?  If anyone knows, please advise.  Thank you.

@Kim Huynh - you are 100% correct.  If BP hasn't updated since 2019, the lease is not valid.  So many state specific changes in 2023.  We probably will have more in this legislative session.  I'm not sure you are seeing what is going on with Just cause evictions, maximum of 1 month security, etc.

The BP documents are allegedly updated every year, but I've never been able to verify that. My recommendation? Send an email to support@biggerpockets.com with an example of a new law and evidence that it has not been updated in their online files. See if they will update it.
