Question on Landlord insurance

John Chu
Posted

New investor here. I am very close to buying a 2 flat with a garden unit. The garden unit is not standard. When I take insurance, should it be referred to as a 3 unit building? Will there be issues with the insurance?

@John Chu

I think this is a question for your insurance agent. If you need a referral, let me know.
