Any recommendations for a temporary a/c solution?
I'm in a temperate city where we're now in the fall and temps are dropping. The a/c unit went out in one of my studio units and the replacement is on back order.
Given that high temps are in the 60s and lows in the 40s and will only continue to fall, it seems a little over to top to install a full portable a/c unit for the few weeks until the new unit can be installed. That said, the tenant claims the unit is hot.
Does anyone have recommendations for something that might help cool the unit if needed but that wouldn't require crafting a full-on venting solution that would be necessary with a portable a/c? Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks!
