Hi,

Do we have fire extinguishers at the rental property? Do we need to keep it near the kitchen area? What are best practices and recommendations on this? There are smoke alarms though. Does recommendations vary between townhome, single family, duplex etc. small multi family,

Please advise

Gotta have - in the kitchen and we put one in the laundry room as well. They do expire so take a sharpie and note the expiration date (it's years).  You also need to provide instructions on how to use it right from the beginning of tenancy.
