Great Tenants Here... :)

Hello everyone!

My name is Adriana, i've been listening to the BP podcast for a year now, I am working on saving money to invest and I am also studying to get my real estate license in California.

I listen to Bigger Pockets Real Estate and Real Estate Rookie, I've heard many stories about bad tenants that destroyed brand new remodeled houses, and I was thinking to myself, I feel that me and my family are the greatest tenants ever! After we were scammed when we bought our first house in 2007 and the bank foreclosed it, we ended up living in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment for 19 years now.

The apartment complex is big, it has 8 buildings, each building has 3 story levels and each story has about 12 apartments. After listening to the bigger pockets I learned the reason why property management are careless about how people lives in these apartments and the reason why we had stayed here is because our jobs are very close.

Last year we asked if we can pay someone to come and changed the carpet, the request was denied!! We were told that they will put a request with the "owner" to change the carpet (the owner obviously is busy making lots of many buying real estate, I dont think the property management ever rely the request), so according the the property manager the owner didn't want us to change the carpet!

We explained that the carpet after so many years, it has been wear out. They didn't care, there were just firm with their answer.

It is unbelievable that after living in this apartment for so many years they can even honor with a new carpet. How hard is to let the tenants pay for it? We dont want them to pay for it, we were willing to pay from our own money to have it changed!

Small things like this makes no sense and I am tired of dealing with the property management, recently a group of people addressed the unfair issues , management again, didnt care and they were super rude! SMH

Thats is why I'm here to ask if anyone has a house for rent in the L.A. area, specifically in the Downey, CA or Norwalk, CA area, me and my family would be very happy to rent it, we are 4 adults, we are employed, we dont received benefits from the government,  we are great tenants, we have never been evicted, we always pay rent on time, we are not problematic people, we take care of the property like it is ours, we have no pets and no kids.

Please let me know if you would like to rent your property to us! Thank you so much for your time reading this. Have a great day/evening!
