tenant smoking issues
ive had some issues with a tenant smoking in one of my rental houses. Ive been soft on them because this happens to be my gfs house and ive basically hidden the issue from her so she doesnt flip a gasket, (i told her to move out it would be cool and id handle her house). Ive threatened to start eviction if it continues and have even smellwd some marijuana smoke which is a big deal not being from those few treehugger states. Jk but ive heard something about if your house has drugs or maybe its just if there was a drugdealer in it, there are severe consequences to the landlord. Anybody know anything about this?

@John T. I would rent an air purification system to them. They have some excellent ones on the market. By renting a purification system to them you would turn your lemons into lemonade.
As long as there's no drug dealing, I would create a small "cigar lounge" (a room under negative pressure with a charcoal purification system) and bump up the rent.
I'm a strong anti-marijuana guy but I can read the trends. Fighting it marijuana is a loosing battle. Get in front of it and profit.
