Deposits and auto pay

I'll soon rent a SFH in NC and I want to handle it directly.

How much does an attorney charge to print and notarize a lease agreement?

I would like to hold the deposit directly, not have it in an escrow--is this ok?

And I would like to collect via autopay.  How do you go about having a bank direct deposit the rent from the tenant into my commercial account?  I would keep a credit card number as back up.

Thanks!

@Noel Fleming Jones - one thing to keep in mind for a NC rental is that the deposit needs to be kept in a separate account in a bank that has at least one NC branch.

As for the auto pay, there are a number of options available.  Some people will give account information so the tenant can use their bill pay through their bank.  There are services such as Cozy.co that will automatically bill the tenants as well.  There have been many discussions in the forums here that talked about it.
