Month to Moth Rental Agreements

Hello BP Family,

I am considering using a month to month rental agreement.  Does the agreement automatically renew every month?  Do I have to get the tenants to sign a new agreement every month?

Thank you

We prefer month-to-month. It renews automatically. No worry about lease renewals or tenants breaking a lease and all that drama. The MTM gives us more flexibility as with proper notice we can terminate the rental agreement when we need to, for cause or for no cause. With proper notice we can also change the terms of the rental agreement. This is good when needing to raise rent or add an additional clause into the rental agreement.
