Landlord got foreclosed. What rights do tenants have
A neighbor that rents the next door town home an just found out that her landlord just got foreclosed on. She received no notice.
2 people came an tried to drill her locks.
She found out there are 2 mortgages and the second foreclosed. Now they are asking if she can move out tomorrow. What rights do they have? Any suggestions?

Under Obama, a federal law called Protecting Tenants At Foreclosure was passed, giving tenants certain rights. This protection has expired. So hold out for a cash for keys offer for as long as possible; the bank will attempt an eviction.
