Accepting Rental Payments Online?

Question

Can anyone suggest a good, secure, and inexpensive way to receive rent on line?  I would like to have it on my website. I am not having much luck in my search.

I use Intuit Payment Networks, Google Wallet, Chase QuickPay and have recently started using PayPal's friends/family transactions.  Intuit is the only one of these services that charges and it's only $0.50/transaction.  I require all tenants to pay application fee and rent with one of these services and it's a huge time saver!

Great choice- I have been using Intuit for a couple of years and so far it has been great.  $.50 per transaction and the ability to turn the credit card acceptance on and off sold me.

I would check your state laws regarding partial payments to avoid evictions- in some places a tenant facing eviction can use an online tool like any of these to make a partial payment which would stall or restart the eviction process.

I actually just started trying out Intuit this month and so far I'm satisfied with it.  The cost (at 50 cents per transaction) is among the cheapest, and the first tenant I tested it with reported back that it was easy to use on their end.

If you have an account with chase bank they have a free option called chase quick pay.  Its kind of like paypal in a way.  You can send out rent payment requests at whatever amount to your tenant via email, they pay online by logging into chase with a free account they have to setup and link their bank account to.    it keep tracks of history and like i said, best of all, its free!

It is what I use and so far its been great.
