Bought a duplex and I need to put appliances in. Was wondering whether I should look for used on Craigslist or buy new. Thinking with Black Friday coming up I might be able to find some good deals on new. looking for advice please.

how is your back, Dan.. I used to haul these around more when I started and would try a used one now and then, and as mentioned above, you can make some of them work if you get a remodeler giving a way a good one for a song (because it does not match usually) but for peace of mind, tenant satisfaction, AND delivery, it is hard to beat new (especially if you have any stairs).... The costs of repair on used, the fact you may have to do it (delivery and install) over again sooner with used, and the efficiency and better appearance of newer has me replacing with new 100 percent now...it has won the day for me.....best of luck either way!
