Tenant portal

I have been comparing property management softwares. Features important to me are having a webpage showing all my property for rent and allowing for easy relisting, online applications and screening and offer online payment. However, I'm wondering if I need to offer a tenant portal for repairs. I like the concept but how widely is it used in practice. I would like to know some of your experiences with tenant portals and Also, in general if you have experience with any property management software that you use or have used, can you share the pluses and minuses of them? Thanks!
