Washer and dryer in rental property

Hello. when having a rental property do you provide a washer and dryer or does the renter provide it.

In a better neighborhood, I would (and have) provided a washer and dryer. For other areas, I just make sure that there is a hook up so they can provide their own. It also depends on if other rentals in the area also provide it.
