Hud tenants, yay or nay

I have a friend who just purchases a home and is thinking of accepting hud tenants. Anyone out there that have rented to them before? Pros and cons please.

I would avoid them. They are generally of lower quality, have entitlement attitudes and are more abusive to the property as they are home all day every day.

I prefer hard working tenants that know the value of a dollar and do not resent their landlord.
