Bed bug infestation

Hello, BP community- I have a tenant that has had a bed bug infestation in my unit as diagnosed by a pest control company. Is that my legal responsibility to remediate this problem?  I plan to take care of it as an act of goodwill since the tenant has been very good and self-sufficient, but I don't know if it's actually a problem that I'm responsible for. Thanks in advance....
