Systems/Organizational Tips

Hi folks,

I'm just curious if anyone had some tips they'd like to share on their favorite or most useful system or organizational methods they use. I'm currently reading the book on managing rental properties by Mr. Brandon Turner and he got me thinking about the importance of automation and running things like a business rather than a hobby.

I recently bought a key box to help organize my keys (only have one duplex but yet still way too many keys for various doors throughout the property) and am considering landlordlocks to further simplify things.

I'm also looking into ways to get electronic rent payments without giving out my banking info.

These are just a couple of parts I'm looking at automating and getting better organized with. Any tips would be great. Another few things that come to mind are bookkeeping and keeping track of finances as well as even how you organize the overall business. So, like I said not looking necessarily for one specific thing, just advice or tips on your favorite systems and/or organizational methods you have implemented. Thanks!
