I have a prospective tenant that is no longer employed. She states she has sufficient savings to allow for rent. How do I qualify someone who has no stated income... living off of government (SS) and savings? Any suggestions are appreciated

SS is steady income that she paid into for her life's work.  It counts as income.  Ask for printed verification of her 401K, bank accounts, or investment portfolio.  If her credit is above 700, she has great refs, verification of savings, and the money for the deposit and first month's rent, I would rent to her.
