What gift do you give your tenants around the holidays?

Question

The landlord of the duplexes next to one of mine gives each unit a turkey around the holidays.  Last year I gave each of my tenants (3 roommates in my only unit at that time) mugs from Anthropologie with a gold foil initial for each of their first names.

I don't want to give away turkeys and I want to do something different from last year.  This year, I have more units and more tenants.  I'm looking for something nice to give each unit in the $20-$30 range per unit that isn't a just a gift card (or a turkey.  Or a mug.)

What do you gift your tenants around the holidays?  [aside from "a roof over their heads" ]

Santa gives them the year-round gift of reasonably priced housing! ..and If they've been good boys and girls, and paid rent on time he won't evict them ;)

I have not dealt with this yet, but I have thought about it. I have a buddy in California that's been doing this for a while now, and he gives his tenants a discounted rent price for the holiday rent. I'm not sure if he sends them a gift card for the rent or just reduces it. I think he does send a card to tell them about it at least, something like the holidays can get expensive so treat yourself with this.

We give gift cards of $50 to our loacal IGA.

This is our way of giving back.  We only give them if they have been with us 6 months min.

I had thought about this but a mentor advised against it a few years ago.  I haven't yet and has not impacted occupancy.

I have gift cards this year but have yet to receive even one thank you, I'm not sure if I should expect one but it would be nice to know your generosity is appreciated

I give gift cards. Easy to buy and deliver.

A fresh wreath?  Poinsettia? A nice door mat? Fruit basket? Frangos from Macy's?  A ham or something Hickory Farms?  Something featured on Shark Tank? Try to think of a splurge item that isn't too extravagant seeming.
