heating season

Peter Melito
Posted

I am trying to find a thermostat with a pin code that needs to be entered in order to adjust the temp. I have a rental where I pay the heat. Someone also told me to use something called heatstopper which can prevent the the thermostat from being adjusted past a set point. anyone hear of this.

Thanks,

You're wasting your time and money with the fancy thermostat. A refreezeable ice pack will defeat your expensive thermostat and the tenants know it. Furthermore, don't be surprised to drive by the house in JANUARY and see the windows open. What does the tenant care - YOU'RE PAYING THE HEAT!!!
