Property Manager LLC

Did you set up an LLC to act as property manager? Does it shield you from liability? I've read a lot on NOLO that, in my state (Georgia), I am personally liable for all negligent acts I perform regardless of how my LLCs are structured. So why incorporate my property management duties to manage my own properties? Thoughts?

My advice is to disregard any advice you find on this forum and seek out a local and competent business attorney in your immediate area.

Then join NARPM!

Good luck.
