Replacement Windows/ Window World

Hey everybody, just looking for some advice, especially from the Illinois crowd. I just got a quote from Window World Saturday for 23 windows (I bought a Tri-plex to house hack, built in the 1920s. This is for the unit my wife and I will be living in) their prices are set at $323 or $403 per window, and we quoted the better windows for the parts of the house with constant sun exposure at just under $8000. The guy said there is a lifetime warranty on the windows, so I was just wondering if anyone had experience with Window World, or the warranty. The price is high, but it would only take them 2 days, and I supposedly would never have to buy another window for that unit ever again. I appreciate any input.

I am in southern Indiana, and just received a quote from a local wholesaler on 25 replacement windows I will be installing my self. The sizes varied some were very large, it was $4,300 after tax, and the install was another $175 a window or another $4,300. Seems like our quotes were very similar fwiw.

I am still going to get 2 other quotes from other wholesalers. Also, if you are construction savvy at all from the builders I have spoke to the installation process of replacement windows is simple if measures correctly. In my case I have very old weighted wooden windows, the contractor I talked to said they are the easiest to replace.

Doesn't sound like WW is out of line on the quote and I would still get some others, but if you are within a couple hundred dollars of others sounds like their warranty could be worth it.
