VA or Answering Service to field calls?

Has anybody had success setting up a virtual assistant or answering service to field calls of people calling about your advertised rental properties?

I get most of my calls while I'm at work during the day and for some reason nobody likes to leave a voicemail. 

Curious if anyone has had success with that?
