Section 8 housing late fess in Ohio
Can a landlord charge $5 a day late? I lost my job waiting on my unemployment I paid $100 they accepted it never said anything about late fees at all I got my unemployment I paid it on full. They are charging $5 a day late until the day I paid it. They said they can evict me. They said Section 8 allows them to charge $5 a day. My lease says $25 late fee after 5 days no additional charges. Is this legal under Section 8 in Ohio?
