On the other hand if they get card benefits worth more than the fee, let em do it. LOVE Cozy!

Account Closed- they pay a fee if they use credit only. Personally, I'd rather not have tenants paying with credit cards, it is often an early warning sign that they are in financial trouble. I am certainly not going to pay 1-3% to let them pay with credit.

Erentpayment is another low cost ($3) option. I eat the cost and consider it the cost of doing business. It does support credit cards but has some additional fees with that.

I think the decision on who should "eat the fee" is going to differ from one landlord to the next. I don't force anyone to use it. They can (for free) drop a check off to me. Or they can (for free) link cozy.co to their checking account. If they'd rather use a credit card, I don't see why I should pay for that.
