Rental listing timeline

Hi all,

Appreciate this resource for the sometimes-daunting learning curve as a new landlord. I'll cut to the chase. I have a single family home coming available sept 1. We bought it last fall and lucked out, quickly filling it with great tenants who will be moving out at the end of August. I'll be getting in there to put in laminate floor and probably some touch up paint/clean up etc. But would obviously like to get tenants in there asap. It's a pretty competitive rental market so I'm sure I'll have plenty of interest. Do most people start posting their listing over a month out from availability? I was thinking if people are moving and need to give a month's notice before leaving their current residence, maybe I should list it ~1.5 months before it comes available (i.e. mid/late July) and shoot to have people moving in by Sept 10th or so. I'm curious of the timeline more experienced landlords go by. A loose timeline I've come up with is:

Mid July - list online

Late July - Set up a few clustered showings (will need to work with tenants for when that will work best)

Early August -  screen applicants

Mid August - hopefully have tenants selected to move in in mid Sept

Realistic? Any thoughts?

Thanks.
