Eviction process in Worcester MA

Hi,

I have a section 8 tenant who is pretty much disappeared on me! i have been trying to reach her for the last couple of months to no avail.

She is behind on rent since June 2017. the other tenants in the building have not seen her in months either. she is not returning my calls or texts. she has been living there with four of her kids (17 to 4 y/old) since 2015 and all the sudden they are all gone. my only guess is that she is in jail or hospital but again she or some of her relatives would call and inform me.

I already started the eviction process and i have court date set for 8/31. hopefully the judge will do the right thing and make an end to this.

my question is this this. she left some of her belongings there, mostly junk, old sofas, dressers and old clothes, do i need to get a bonded mover and constable to move her belongings or could i junk her stuff? i am already out a grand or 2 and i dont want to loose anymore money. in addition to some other damages that were made to the unit.

i am doing the eviction process by myself.

Your input is highly appreciated.

thanks,

Khalid
