Renting to Foreign Diplomats

Hi All, This is first time I am renting a house and I am getting an interest from a African Diplomat. From the web search  I have found that it is tricky renting to foreign diplomats because of the diplomatic immunity they have. There might be little legal recourse for the landlord if they owe any rent or cause damage to the property.

I am wondering if anyone in BP has rented to foreign diplomats before? Could you share you experience please and any advice and pointer on this topic is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
