Has Anyone Ever Sold a Judgment?

Has anyone ever sold a judgment?  If so, how did that go, and what would you recommend?  I recently got a judgment for unpaid rent and damages as part of an eviction, but the former tenant has moved out of state and it seems like it would be difficult to attempt to track them down.  I looked into some options for selling the judgment- there are some online marketplaces and a number of collection firms that offer to buy them, but I'm not sure which would end up being the best route to go.  Any advice would be appreciated!
