Carpet replaced

We have been renting our house for 18 years the carpet and linoleum is a wreak to me its normal wear and tear after raising 4 kids that are now all grow and gone we just feel that its about time that the flooring be replaced would the landlord be responsable for the repairs after all its been 18 years coming up on 19???

I have a house for you with brand new flooring, paint, and AC/heat.

Seriously, having a tenant for 18 years and never having to do a "make ready" in all that time has saved him many thousands of dollars over the years.
