I am trying to evict a tenant, but the property is in the name of my LLC. I have the court date on Tuesday but I was told its a little different that the court we require a particular authority document. Not sure of what document that is. Someone from the property management company i use is supposed to make the court date because i am not available. Has anyone evicted a tenant with an LLC in New Jersey, Newark to be specific. Please i need an advice

Replied

You need an attorney. You may get away with it but your property management company doesn't know what it is doing. The tenant just needs to raise the issue and everything stops. LLC's need attorneys in N.J.

Good Luck
