Hope all is well.

What are common and overlooked deposit deductions? Including pet deposits?

If the tenant doesn't leave on the date can I charge for the extra days?

What about my holding cost until I get it rented again?

What should I do if the tenant does not leave me a forwarding address? (I think they have address service at the house though).

Thanks!

Depends on your lease and local ordinance.

Usually there is a holdover clause if they do not leave

Usually there is a clause if they break the lease to cover your holding costs and cost of marketing, but if they leave at the lease expiration that does not apply

Usually there is a requirement that you send the deposit to the last known address (yours) assuming the tenant set up mail forwarding they will get it.

I followed procedure and sent a tenant the SD to the last known address (mine) and it got sent back to me.  About a year later they called me for the SD and I had to show I attempted to return it per my local ordinance guidelines
