I am a real estate investor in California looking to expand out of state. I’m interested in Cleveland, Ohio and I am hoping to find a great property manager in that area. Does anyone have any recommendations?

@Stephen Solario I am here in the Cleveland Market. It all depends on where the house is on whom I would recommend.
feel free to PM me if ya wanna go over details. I provide managers with the houses I sell, but not the same group for all of them.

@Stephen Solario I have a steady flow properties available in the Cleveland Market if you are still buying there.

@Rob Gillespie I have an opportunity to strike on an 8 Plex in East Cleveland, any chance you could be of any assistance in trying to value this one properly? its been vacant for 10 years, assuming its a total rehab cost is very cheap but having a hard time coming to the conclusion is it worth it. I usually deal with SFR and I'm out of state. Any help/advice you could give would be appreciated.

Good chance the building has a negative value. There's a reason it's been empty for 10+ years.

@Mark Harris East Cleveland is generally the worst part of Cleveland. Buying there from out of state seems like a good way to lose your shirt

@Mark Harris I'll help you come to a conclusion. No. It's not worth it.
I bet there are plenty of owners in East Cleveland that would pay you to take properties off their hands. Not a strategy I'd recommend, though.

I agree with James, most likely if it is in the REPUBLIC OF EAST CLEVELAND and has been vacant for 10 years, the value is negative. This is a street in that city with all of the buildings sitting empty. Hundreds of units! With that said, I do believe it will make a comeback, but I do not want to be the pioneer! LOL
