Extra layer of underlayment under luxury vinyl plank?

Sunshine V.
Posted

Has anyone considered or tried putting an extra layer of underlayment under luxury vinyl tile - even if it already has a thin pad attached?  I'm trying to soften the feel of the product and make it more similar to hardwood.  This is for a higher end rental and hardwood is currently not an option.  I'm looking at click-lock products.  Any feedback wood (pun intended) be appreciated!
