Property Management Software - DIY or Hire Assistant

Hey guys,

So it's getting to the point where I needed to pull the trigger on a PM software. I ended up choosing rent manager. I went through the training and learned the basics but I'm finding I DETEST using it. I was wondering if anyone else ran into the same issue. Did you bull through it and use it anyways? Or did you delegate the task to a part time employee? If you hired on, did you use a local person, or did you hire a VA?

Thanks for any input you can provide

I recently saw a post in a FB group where this guy is building out a PM software from the ground up. 1-10 units being free, 10-75 units for a monthly subscription. He's developing it from his experience in having 280+ doors, where he saw lots of missing functionalities from other platforms currently in the market.

Software will have built in automation for followups (for both PM & tenants), email, text, robo-call feature, accounting module, maintenance request & history, configuration of rent collection & due dates, amortization schedule, insurance, cashflow etc.

Free version's launch date is December 2018.
