sliding glass door

Someone smashed in one side of the sliding glass door on the future rental and I think the entire unit may need to be replaced. Should I just get the cheapest single pane type I can find, or would there be any point in getting a more expensive "low e" glass type or double-paned? thanks

Usually you can just replace the glass. I'd just replace the glass with whatever is currently in it. I wouldn't go changing things up. I don't think I've ever seen a single pane sliding door, but I guess they're probably out there.
