Textured or smooth tile for rental floor?

I've been looking at both (to tile the whole house) and it seems the smooth could be a hazard if it gets wet and the tenant slips and falls, while the textured might be harder to clean. Is it just a matter of personal preference or is there one that most people use? thanks

I had the same concern as you at one point. The salesman said the smooth tile would not be an issue when wet. He was wrong, I wiped out big time within a week of being installed becausese it was wet. After this, I will never use the smoother tile again for floor surfaces.
