Putting Duplex up for rent

Ok everyone so I have finally purchased my first duplex at the end of September! I'm so excited to finally get my journey started. It has been a long one so far.  I have just got the place cleaned out and repainted. All that is left is for me to rent it out. This is were I am a bit stuck. What is the best way for someone starting out to advertise my place out for rent? How can I find the rental rates in my area? (I've used rentometer any other suggestions?) How about leases? Who writes those? Anything else you all can think of please feel free to chime in!
