What online background services are easy for applicants?

I've used tenantverification.com but it requires the applicant to go through several steps,such as creating an account and password. I'm looking for a service that doesn't require creating accounts. Just a link to an online app and go.

Any services recommended for simplicity?

@George V. - I use mysmartmove.com, but have the tenant fill out an application first for initial screening. This does a few things for me.

1. Gives me the background information I need for due diligence.

2. Allows me to prescreen the tenants at minimal/No cost to applicant.

3. Gives me information I need to compare to the smart move information. (If they lie about anything, what will the future relationship look like?)

It is a little extra work, but this isn't the part of the process to be lazy about. I've learned from very bad situations that I can only blame my previous weak screening process for.

I'm assuming you are looking for both the online application and the integrated background check, is that correct?  I don't believe that SmartMove incorporates the rental application - they just provide the credit/background check.

I agree it's easiest on the renter to not have to create an account prior to applying and I'd certainly recommend using a service that has both the application and the background check - this saves you from having to re-enter information, etc.

Our service is unique in that it does not require a tenant to create an account to apply to the property (and does have integrated tenant screening).  Happy to give you additional details.

Honestly, most of the software options out there will require account creation from both parties.

I use www.mysmartmove.com/ personally, and make the tenant pay for it ($40). I am not sure if you have to create an account...you very well may have to...but creating an account is par for the course these days.
