Vertical blinds

I was wondering if other people are using these in their rentals (not just on sliding glass doors, but on regular windows)? I've grown to hate the horizontal mini-blinds--and the vertical ones seem so much easier if you need to replace a broken slat.

I have always done the 2" faux wood blinds (white) from Home Depot.

Reasonably priced and easy to cut down to the sizes I need.
