Switching from Tenant to Land Transfer
I am renting a home that has a mortgage. The tenant who is renting from me would like to put a down payment and transfer from tenant to Land Transfer contract. My question is, can I keep the mortgage on the home while in a land transfer? I am sure I have to ask the mortgage company what their rules are, but I wanted to hear the thoughts from BP community.
